My name is Ola, and I'm an independent saddle fitter certified through SaddleFit4Life. I offer in-depth Western saddle fitting evaluations and work with a wide range of saddle brands and makers to help you find the best fit for you and your equine partner.

When fit became the missing piece

I came to saddle fitting as a barrel racer and horse owner after noticing patterns in behavior, performance, and soundness that didn't sit right with me. Horses that were labeled as difficult, horses that were inconsistent, horses that just weren't quite right — and the answers that were given never fully added up.

That curiosity led me into biomechanics and a much deeper understanding of how much saddle fit actually affects comfort, movement, and performance. A properly fitting saddle plays a major role in a horse's soundness, willingness to work, and ability to do what we're asking.

What drives my work

I continue my education on a daily basis, learning from different saddle brands, makers, and fitting perspectives. Every horse and rider I work with adds to that knowledge, and I believe staying curious, adaptable, and open minded is essential in this field. Horses change, riders change, and good fitting requires constant learning and honest assessment.

I have a strong passion for barrel racing, performance dynamics, and understanding how saddle fit affects both horse and rider when demands are high and precision matters. Helping horses feel better in their bodies, stay sound longer, and perform with more freedom is what keeps me going.
